Qeparo is a seaside resort on the Albanian Riviera, located between Lukova and Himara, and right next to Borsh. Qeparo’s name is said to come from the Greek word kipos, meaning garden. The Greek Chaoni tribe inhabited the area in the late Bronze Age, around the 14th-11th centuries BC. The charming village has become popular with tourists for its white, sandy beaches, beautiful stone architecture and relaxing natural environment. It is a spacious coastline with crystal clear turquoise waters and clear sand and pebble cover, so you don’t need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, solo travelers, relaxers, etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campground located nearby.
Although a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. Beach facilities are available only to visitors to the resort area. Their list includes, sunbeds and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, and toilets. It is also possible to do various water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard. Besides swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.
