The Lengarice canyon is very narrow and high: the more you enter the river, the more spectacular the canyon becomes. It is a wild beauty, but very fascinating, not only for its natural values but also for its archaeology. Research in recent years has brought to light a rich material, which shows that the cave of “Pellumbave”, as well as other caves, were prehistoric settlements. The peculiarity of these caves is that inside them there are stem cell forms and stalactites, which form columns somewhere, is an unimaginable view to turn the spell. Dozens of meters of rock formations make up the canyons, which are located about 200 meters from the hot springs on both sides of Lengarice. The canyons are frequented not only for their beauty but also for canoeing. The river flows on both banks to have a rich and varied vegetation where live a myriad of birds and wild animals, rare for the area. Beautiful, scary and colourful scenery. Four seasons have four different and incredible landscapes. It really is a mysterious, beautiful and prosperous river. The extraordinary waterfall changes during the winter and changes the configuration of the area around the Katiu Bridge, a rare cultural monument.
