Borsh a reality of 2500 inhabitants located near the villages of Fterra, Piqeras and Qeparo, only two hours drive from the city of Vlora. The village in ancient times was called Meandria. This village is located in a valley, not far from the beach. Here also flows the stream of Borshi. This stream flows directly from the rock to the centre of the village. Above this village, at the top of the rock there is “Borshi Fortress” belonging to the 4th century AD. The road leading to the beach is located in the middle of olive groves and leads directly to the beach, a 6 km long beach, one of the longest on the Albanian Riviera. The services for tourists on this beach are excellent for all seasons. Borsh offers – in addition to a wonderful beach – numerous activities such as sailing, canoeing, kayaking and water skiing by day, bonfires on the beach in the evening and music (such as the South Outdoor Festival).
