A stone bridge curves over a sinuous stretch of bright blue-green water. Built in the Middle Ages, it has allowed people to cross the river rich of sulfur since the time of the Ottoman Empire. The warm water flows under it, offering a relaxing treatment for those who visit. Near the bridge, you will find the Benja Spa, born from geothermal waters near Përmet, Albania. The heated water flows along the river unless it is diverted into one of the many artificial pools. They are a wonderful place for a hot bath.
